This Riverside tradition has been around since 1926 and is great for all ages. The Riverside Lawn Bowling Club provides free instruction and bowls for beginners. Come to the Lawn Bowling Greens at Fairmount Park, 2601 Fairmount Blvd, near the Market Street (locomotive) entrance. Special Events Image

This unique sport is played with a bowl, or ball, which is not uniformly shaped. The bowl curves when rolled because one side is flattened. Concentration is necessary to develop the skill that sends each bowl on an accurate, curved path toward the target. For more information, please call the Riverside Lawn Bowling Club at 780-7273.
